Walton-Beckett測微尺，具有直徑100μm圓形視野面(面積約0.00785mm2)，在顯微鏡下能測量石棉纖維的長度和寬度，以Walton-Beckett測微尺投射在載玻片之影像范圍及長度作為計數(shù)之依據(jù)。
A規(guī)則使用G-22型，B規(guī)則使用G-24型，計數(shù)板視野是依個別位相差顯微鏡制作而成，一般與鏡臺測微尺PS12和HSE/NPL檢測玻片配套使用。
Walton-Beckett測微尺屬于目鏡測微尺，選擇時需要根據(jù)自己顯微鏡目鏡筒的限制來選，一般提供的直徑有16mm,19mm,20.4mm,21mm,23mm,24mm,24.5mm,25mm,26mm,27mm.
